Greg, Gary, Kat and Staff,

I am writing you all to say THANK YOU! You all saved my career, my retirement, my life and gave me a chance at a whole different future than the one I was foreseeing after being charged with everything from sexual assault, assault with a weapon, to drunken driving and obstruction of justice. I am relieved and still in disbelief that the General Court-Martial is finally over after 10 long months of the nightmare being literally a part of my family’s daily life. The fact that we can now move on with our life and feel like we can plan a future is a feeling like no other.

Greg, I know you were definitely the star of this show, but I clearly see how you utilized my military counsel to keep a steady battle rhythm going throughout the trial and constantly manning the controls as you launched your attack. One thing I keep thinking about is how strategically you planned and executed your defense for me. I realize that there was a little luck involved, but mostly skill and the ability to find holes in the prosecution's case and use mistakes to your advantage. I saw even before the Art. 32, how details were evaluated and motions were developed. At the 32, I watched how you were able to use each witness to the defense's advantage by spotting key issues where testimony did not line up with other facts and you were able utilize this information for trial later. At the arraignment, the key witness’s stories were dismantled further and put on record. Once the trial started, I saw how the jury members were closely scrutinized during voir dire ensure the best advantage to the defense. There was never a section of the trial where each detail was overlooked - every step of the way you took notes, researched, planned, and adjusted strategy to gain any possible advantage over the prosecution. During the trial, there were definitely periods where I thought the govt. was starting to get an upper hand, but once defense was up I felt like I was still doing okay. I must admit I was on the edge of my seat wondering if things were going to work out for me, but you just kept swinging and continued to bring doubt and show motives to the jury.

I cannot express enough gratitude and appreciation for all the work you all did to win my case and allow me survive this ordeal. Even once the verdict was out and I was found guilty of 1 of 16 original charges, you treated sentencing like a whole other trial; fighting every detail to ensure I was afforded the opportunity at the best sentence possible. In the end, I was able to walk out of the courtroom with a sentence of NO PUNISHMENT. Thank you for your patience and addressing my concerns and answering all my questions as quickly as you could. You and your staff never stopped providing the best possible professional service in my defense. Sincerely, thank you!

Dear Greg,

As I said to you when we walked outside of the courtroom after closing arguments and the jury went into deliberation: "No matter the outcome of this case, you did your job! You did what I paid you to do and no matter what, I will never forget it!" Greg, from the moment I got off the phone with you after my consultation I knew I had to look no further. I was immediately impressed with your knowledge of the Uniform Code of Military Justice; as well as, all the recent changes to sexual assault rules incorporated by the military. After researching new rules on the internet I found it extremely comforting to know this lawyer really knows what he's talking about.

Over a year and half ago I was accused and charged with sexual assault. I was facing the possibility of up to 14 years jail time, a federal conviction, sex offender registration, and dishonorable discharge from the military. To say I was in very bad shape is an understatement! As time progressed forward to the Article 32 hearing, I honestly had no idea what to expect with very little knowledge of how the military judicial system worked. I learned very quickly that Greg was a master of his craft as he successfully extracted critical testimony needed in the event my case was tried by General Court Martial. Greg's 36 years of experience gave him the wherewithal to understand the same day as the Article 32 hearing that we did not need to wait three weeks for the results. Greg informed me that we were most certainly going to trial.

As trial began six months later, Greg's tenacious examination of witness after witness during the Article 32 hearing brought forth exactly what was needed for the Judge to release invaluable information of the complaining witnesses' medical records to the court. This, along with other critical motions raised by Greg in my defense cause the Judge to continue the case to a later date so all facts could be brought to the forefront. At first I was disappointed by this decision; however, Greg made it crystal clear to me that he will NEVER step into a court room unprepared and without all the facts!

Two months later trail reconvened and for three grueling days it ran its course. When all said and done, I was found NOT GUILTY of all charges. I have never in my life witness someone fight so hard for someone they barely knew! Greg, your dedication to the perfection of your craft is unsurpassed! Your willingness to do whatever it took to ensure I received the best possible representation available was perpetually displayed! You, Kat and the entire McCormack & McCormack team embody the true definition of professionalism and excellence! Greg, words can never express the gratitude I feel for what you have done for me and my family. I am forever grateful.

Outstanding.

It is the one word that comes to mind when I think of Mr. McCormack and his team of professionals. Mr. McCormack went out of his way to cover every base possible for a trial that literally left us weak in the knees based on the allegations, charges and potential reality of jail time. Although we never met prior to the trial, Mr. McCormack became part of our family and went into court as if he was fighting for one of his own. His tactical approach proved to be invaluable beyond measure. This man poured his all into the case and helped us navigate the sometimes confusing aspects of the judicial system.

When you are facing a serious charge that could end up with life in prison, you want the very best standing in your corner...and that IS without question Mr. McCormack and his team. Not only did they prepare us before court but we were always kept in the loop with what the next phase of the case would be. The entire team especially Theresa was ALWAYS readily available to answer calls and emails no matter what the question.

Preparation is such a critical component to any case and boy-oh-boy was the Law Office of McCormack & McCormack prepared. They proved that if you fail to prepare, prepare to fail. Mr. McCormack and the entire team danced circles around the prosecution because McCormack & McCormack was prepared for every and any turn in the case (and we had quite a few). In the end Mr. McCormack's experience and expertise of the court system proved invaluable. Not only was he able to get the most serious charges dropped but his diligence and determination resulted in the remaining charges came back with a NOT guilty verdict.

I can not speak enough about this incredible man and his team of professionals who went "out" on a limb "standing" firm in the face of the most difficult time that our family has ever experienced. Simply put, McCormack & McCormack = Outstanding! I had to write the is letter about this law firm especially to anyone out there who may be on the fence or undecided about an attorney to go with. I hope this letter about our experience strikes a cord and helps you make the decision that Mr. McCormack and his team is without a question the way to go...if you want to WIN!

Thank you beyond words for all you have done to help us walk out of court with a clean slate and a fresh new beginning. Nothing compares to having a powerful team on you're side and from the bottom of our hearts Mr. McCormack we truly appreciate you, Theresa and the entire team who helped to prepare this case.

Mr. McCormack,

Thank you doesn't begin to show the deep gratitude and appreciation I owe to you for the incredible representation you gave during my administrative review board. You and Kat, who I owe just as much, did a great job! Your honesty during consults and Kat's weekly updates on my case were essential to keep me focused at work and my attitude positive, given the situation at hand. When the deliberation came out as 3-0 no misconduct, and a 3-0 vote for retention, it felt like my stress and worry just melted away. It was a long, thirteen-hour day, and after five months of waiting for that day to come, I could finally sleep easy. Your professionalism during the hearing was impeccable, and the fact that you could counter the government's case with your extensive knowledge of law and the UCMJ really shows why you are the best defense attorney in the Hampton Roads area. Thanks, for all your help to let me remain a Sailor in the United States Navy!Mr. McCormack,

Thank you Ms. Theresa for all the support! You guys saved my life! So THANK You!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!! I will be writing a story about the case and how well Mr. McCormack did on Monday. Once again thank you.

Mr. McCormack:

It proves to be a difficult task, to thank you sufficiently for your efforts on behalf of our son. He faced rather severe, life changing penalties for the alleged charges. Needless to say, his mother and I were quickly reaching the edge of our wits, and nearly paralyzed by the strain of the ordeal.

And yet, we were calmed by the confidence we had in you. Your preparation was thorough, you talked us through each process of the case; you spent time preparing our son for the challenge, and your staff was most understanding in the execution of their duties.

Your defensive strategy was well executed: presenting your case, challenging the prosecutions' allegation and evidence; dismantling it, with deliberate persistence, and with a clear command of all the elements at your disposal in the practice of jurisprudence. It was nothing short of masterful.

The not guilty verdict, not only exonerated our son, but it also qualified our choice, to have you serve as our attorney. On this point, our family again offers our gratitude and all the best for your continued success.

Dear Greg,

We first met you early this year from the start of the most horrific situation our family ever had to endure. Everyone knows that their life can turn in a blink of an eye, but you never think it's going to happen to you, well it did. My son didn't know where to tum or what to do, and then by chance he found you on the internet. He read your credentials and decided to take a chance on you. My son told us he found an attorney who he instantly felt he could trust, my son put his life in your hands. When my husband and I met you we felt the same way, we intrusted you with our son's life, and that is something we never thought we would do, but you made us trust you, you made us believe in you and thus our journey began.

Earlier this year my son was facing a possible indictment for various counts of CP. Needless to say our family was sick over this, we didn't have a clue as to what was happening. You took the time to explain everything to us. Greg you always made yourself available to us, you would answer my emails as early as 5:00AM or as late as Midnight. Your phone calls came day and night whenever need be. No matter how many questions we had or how many phone calls we made to you, you were always there ready with answers and explanations. Not only you were there when we needed help also Theresa and Kat. I have to say as a mother those two women were priceless to me. I must have called each of them a relentless amount of times, and never once were they annoyed or short with me. Each conversation was handled with the utmost of care, and I can't thank them enough.

Due to your tenacious efforts you were able to negotiate a deal with the prosecution for a plea bargain of one count of possession that could have a sentence with a possible guideline range of 8-10 yrs. However, Greg you were able to utilize the most recent reports and research available to demonstrate that the sentencing guidelines were completely outdated and too severe for my son's particular case. In addition to this you told us what we needed to do, and that was to get a character history package including letters, and all sorts of things about my son's life, and with help of your diligent team of paralegals (Theresa and Kat) who spent countless hours assembling this package for my son that helped demonstrate that the prescribed guidelines were too severe and warranted departure.

Greg with your combined efforts of knowledge, experience, hard work and your excellent team, my son received a sentence of 60 months, with the opportunity to participate in programs that will reduce the time of his sentence further.

Greg besides your incredible work ethics, you are man of great respect. Not only were you there as a lawyer, we also felt you were there as a friend. What I admired most about you was how you treated my son. You didn't treat him like a felon, you had respect for him, you treated him like a respectable man who needed your help. Whether he was sitting in your office or behind a Plexiglas divider in the county jail you treated him with the utmost respect and that is something we will never forget.

Thanks again Greg, Theresa and Kat for all your hard work without it we would have never gotten through this horrific time, your help has made it easier for us to get through this.

We have reach rock bottom, and the only way to go now is up, and I know we are going to make it.

My experience with Greg McCormack and his associates was very comfortable, professional, and ultimately resulted in a positive outcome which saved my career. I was facing a positive urinalysis in the Navy with an NJP already imposed making my situation nearly impossible to overcome, but Greg and his paralegal staff worked quickly and diligently using all of their available resources ultimately resulting in a separation board ruling unanimously in my favor to drop the charges. As someone who has never had legal representation, I wasn't sure what to expect when working with a legal staff but every single person I worked with was congenial and understanding and they made my experience very comfortable while offering the most sound legal advice and support I could have possibly gotten in my particular case. I was recommended to Greg McCormack and his staff by a fellow co-worker who had also had tremendous success in an uphill legal battle and I too would recommend Greg to anyone in need of legal consult or representation. Thank you Mr. McCormack to you and your entire staff for all of the hard work you've done for me. Your knowledge and hard work have made an invaluable contribution to my career and my life.

Dear Mr. McCormack,

First off words cannot express the level of sincere gratitude my wife, family and myself have for you and Theresa because of all your hard work and support by helping us finally reaching a satisfactory conclusion and bringing my worst nightmare to a stop. It has absolutely been the most stressful and unsettling time in my life, not only because of the severity of the charges I faced but also not knowing the outcome, which made my future filled with uncertainty.

I contacted you several months ago to inquire about your legal services, out of seven military lawyers that I called you were the only person that took the time to call me back and explain what I would be facing over the months to come. You were always very straight forward and never sugar coated anything, which was greatly appreciated. My questions were always answered promptly; you and Theresa constantly exceeded my expectations. I never thought the outcome of the trial would have turned out as well as it did. Not only did you preserve my 13 year career, but my life and the future of my child as well, this was because of your vast knowledge of the court, your strategy, your aggressiveness and your team's helpfulness.

In closing the level of appreciation and admiration we have for you and your staff is immeasurable. If in future I ever come across any military member or civilian in need of the best legal assistance that could possibly be provided they will be directed to Mr. Greg McCormack and his wonderful staff. Thanks to you and your team for everything and thank you for saving my career, my wife and I will never forget what you did for us.

God bless.

Find out why you should hire a civilian attorney

Dear Greg,

Saying "Thank You" does not even begin to accurately convey our gratitude to you for your help in my sons time of need for legal representation.

Before contacting you, we had an attorney who was not returning calls, was not answering our questions, and was not informing us of...quite frankly...anything.

After weeks of the above frustration and fear of the unknown, I woke up one morning with this deep gut feeling that as the mom of a son in need, knew I HAD to do something for my son. As it turned out, "that something" was to find YOU.

Upon calling, I was surprised to immediately be connected to you personally. Briefly, I informed you of my sons situation. With not a second of hesitation, you asked how quickly could my son get there. He was able to meet with you within 2 hours of my call.
I'll fast forward here just by one day and state that had we not found you and had you not immediately jumped into action, my son would have been indicted within days! You stopped that from happening and saved him from what would have been the worst of the worst.
We shudder to even think....

After the initial private consultation and while he was still in your office, you contacted me, with my son in full agreement. With what I will call brute honesty, you explained the seriousness of his situation. I was terrified for him. You said that my son was visibly shaken. I probably only digested about 20% of your words that day, but yet felt certain that he made the right decision in wanting you to represent him. Our feeling of certainty couldn't have been more accurate.

My son is a young adult, "Adult" being the key word here. I realize that you did not have to take that huge extra step to suggest a conference call with me that day, but you did. May I add here that it was not because I was the one paying your fee. My son had already informed you that he would be the one responsible for that. Expensive? Yes. Worth every penny? Definitely...Yes. Your expertise, years of experience, knowledge, endless and tireless efforts were truly invaluable.
Greg, how on earth do I say thank you for helping my son? How do I express how grateful I am for including me in the process? Yes, my son was in full agreement of me being included and informed, but I know your encouragement to guide him in that direction meant that you were willing to give much more of your time, effort and energy than you would have had to.

I did not give this tons of thought at the time, but I most certainly have since. In the first few hours after the initial consultation, you not only swiftly moved into action with your legal expertise, but your wisdom shined through as well. In my opinion, you knew that my son needed love and support, as anyone would, when facing such troubles. Being informed, gave my son and me a precious and priceless gift. The gift of he and I being able to talk about it all openly with one another so that I could give him the emotional support he so needed. It gave him a chance to prepare with me by his side. It gave him the needed boost to stay strong and not feel alone in it all. From the bottom of my heart Greg - I thank you.

To any potential client, any parents or loved ones who may read my letter and are considering a call the office of Greg McCormack..I would say do not hesitate. Call now! After your call, appreciate the brute honesty in the way you are given information. Above all, know that you or your loved one is in the best of hands in legal representation from Greg and his talented, ambitious team.

Jarrett, you also were wonderful in assisting with my sons case. My son not only benefited from your legal expertise, but he easily connected with you ...maybe..being somewhat due to being closer to his age (sorry Greg). The benefit that came with feeling such a connection was very important to my son. You met with him and visited him on numerous occasions, helping him tremendously.
To Theresa, your efforts and knowledge were also invaluable. You were able to answer so many of our questions and took the time to do so. Everyone's knowledge and efforts, without a doubt, contributed to the best possible outcome in my sons case. Greg is fortunate to have such a wonderful team which made us very fortunate as well.

After successfully getting my son past an indictment from happening, your negotiations with the prosecutor began. Again some success. The guidelines for this offense are more harsh than for those who have committed a far worse offense. I can only say that facing what it is, your experience and knowledge in representing one being charged with this offense was outstanding.

I was impressed with your credentials which I read on your website before I first called you early that morning. Once we witnessed your knowledge and swiftness in all your actions, we felt some of the weight lifted from our shoulders. Every question was answered, every process and guideline explained. With every step taken, you immediately informed us and then went on to explain what the next steps would be. It was evident you had a great reputation and are well respected and trusted by those on both sides of the fence within the legal circle.
Unfortunately, there was not much choice but to enter a plea. Sadly, the outcome could have been much worse had he not. You explained it all to us thoroughly.
You and Jarret gave us hours of your time that day in your conference room. You did not hurry us in the process of this important meeting. It was clear that your intention was to answer any and all of our questions and for my son to be fully informed in this decision and it's process. On a personal note, I remember when you momentarily stepped away and valiently came back into the room with a box of tissues for me and a supportive hand laid on my sons shoulder.

I wish I could write with all the correct legal terminology in all the right places. I have though, written with the utmost sincerity, which I hope conveys to you, and others who may read it, that we know we could not have made a better choice than you to represent my son. Your expertise, vast knowledge, years of experience, extremely knowledgeable staff, along with your your endless energy and efforts.....you ultimately helped my son receive a better than expected outcome.

Back to my mention of your brute honesty for a moment. Although it was not easily accepted at times, I am sure it was the only way, the best way to be given the information you had to deliver. You knew that. It did not go un-noticed the care and compassion we were also given. Before walking into court on the day he entered his plea, you squeezed my hand. You understood the fear I felt for my son that day. I closely watched as you stood in front of my son, reached out and straightened his tie, squeezed his shoulders and looked into his eyes...with compassion in yours. Even with the sound of what seemed like a freight train in my head, I listened to your words of advice as I had complete faith in you. Although most times it was through tear filled eyes, I don't believe I missed much of anything when it came to seeing how you helped and fought for my son. The outcome, with your help, was much better than what could have been. I will never forget Greg, and will be forever grateful.

Greg and Melody,

Words cannot express the amount of gratitude my family and I owe to you. Your professionalism and diligence in my case was invaluable. You tackled the tough questions and issues head on and made us feel secure with your experience. Melody worked long hours for us keeping in contact and being available when we needed her all while she had other cases pending and you knocked it out of the park at the board. You can't put a price on piece of mind, and that is what you gave us. You never sugar-coated anything and always let us know what to expect. We had the cards stacked against us and everything to lose. However, you not only got the outcome we wanted, but all charges were dismissed at my separation board! Thank you again and I will recommend you to the highest degree to anyone looking for legal representation.

Dear Mr. McCormack,

When I contacted you several months ago to inquire about your services, you were the only person that took the time to explain what my husband and I would be facing over the next few months. We were stressed and scared about our unknown future. You were straight forward and very helpful. My questions were always answered promptly and adequately. You and your team constantly exceeded my expectations. I never thought the outcome of my husband's trial would have turned out as well as it did. Because of your knowledge, your strategy, and your team's helpfulness, my husband and I are together. We will never forget what you did for us. Thanks to you and your team for everything.

Mr. McCormack,

Thank you and Mr. Lemmons very much for your great work and representation. Mr. Lemmons is a great guy who spent all the time with me that I needed. At all times he greatly supported me and encouraged me and even brought me back to the right frame of mind when I was getting a little emotional and discouraged with my chain of command and started to lay blame and being hung up on what the AOIC was doing as well as the resultant things the chain of command after we were relieved. I absolutely feel that I made the right choice in you and your office in getting me through this. I talked to other senior officers (active and retired) that showed reluctance in my decision to retain civilian legal assistance but from my recent experience, it is absolutely necessary in order to acquire the expertise and experience. I would recommend you to any one that came into the same unfortunate event of a BOI or other similar legal proceedings. Again thank you and Mr. Lemmons very much.

Mr. McCormack,

I just want to express to you my deepest and most sincere gratitude for helping me get through these past few months of stress and frustration. Through you and your office's hard and diligent work, you have saved not only my naval career but also me and my family from years of potential heartache in the future. A million thank you's and god bless!

Dear Greg & Melody,

I hope your start to 2012 is as hopeful and optimistic as mine. I certainly would not be as excited about the New Year if it weren’t for your exceptional legal skills and devotion to my case. I was beyond impressed with the personal attention that you both, as my attorney and paralegal, gave to me during this most difficult period in my life. I have never seen such a combination of professional and personal attributes in anyone I’ve ever done business with. Today’s day and age of fast paced modernism has brought about so many changes that it is very nice, and rare, to see a professional who genuinely cares for the welfare of his client. I knew from the initial consultation that I had found the right legal team.

My life was shattered by the events that brought me to your office only 7 months ago. I had been to a couple of consultations before I met with you. I remember being extremely impressed ( and surprised ) to receive your call at 7:30 pm after, literally, 30 minutes from submitting a referral request on your website. I am even more impressed now that I know how busy you are. A first impression is a lasting one and this told me a lot about your concern to help my situation and the dedication you have to your practice.

I was extremely impressed by the knowledge of both the civilian and military legal systems you showed me during our initial consultation. They are very different, and your knowledge of how they intertwine and affect each other is a priceless attribute that makes you and your team an invaluable asset to have on your side. I remember the advice other attorneys gave me before consulting with you and it still makes me shudder; had I listened and retained their services, their lack of knowledge of how both legal systems work together would have surely resulted in a poor outcome as I look back on how you handled my case.

I was very nervous on my day in court, but I appreciated your candor in explaining every possible outcome and what our game plan was. I felt like I knew exactly what to expect. I remember seeing some weak attorneys that day who were visibly intimidated by our very strict judge. Your representation met my every expectation in court. Your aggressiveness and knowledge of the law in front of the judge was directly responsible for having my case dismissed.

I dealt with Melody as my paralegal many times during the months leading up to my case. I was extremely impressed with her attention to detail and quality of work. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with.

My record is completely clear thanks to your efforts, hard work, and dedication to both my case and the spirit of the law. I can’t thank you both enough for the quality of work you do. I hope you both have a wonderful 2012 Greg and Melody!

Very sincerely,

LCDR (ret ) *********

Dear Mr. McCormack,

In February of this year, I received notice from my Commanding Officer that I was the subject of an investigation into allegations that I made sexually offensive statements to some crew members and was being removed from the ship to allow the investigation to take its course. Taken completely aback by the news, I was given the advice to seek legal counsel. My first inclination, I must admit, was to seek out a JAG attorney. During an internet search about the UCMJ articles containing the charges I was being investigated for, I found a link to your website. After reading the testimonials from past cases, I was interested in seeking further information and made an appointment to meet with you the very next day. From that first meeting and on throughout this process, the advice and direction that you provided not only prevented me from making some mistake that could potentially destroy my case, but also kept hope alive for my entire family that we might actually be able to fight these allegations.

In March, at the conclusion of the investigation, my Commanding Officer felt that the statements of the accusers were sufficient evidence to proceed to NJP and I was ordered to appear. Again, you instantly reacted with action and, after learning that the evidence against me would not be made available to us prior to the NJP, you advised me to invoke my right to remain silent. I realized when I arrived for my NJP that my guilt had already been determined and that nothing that I said would change that fact. Though my first instinct would normally be to attempt to defend myself, I took your advice and again saved myself from having charges of false official statements added to my case if my CO concluded that I was lying to him. The events of that day went exactly as you said that they would and I was processed for administrative separation for reason of misconduct.

Today, the process was finally completed with the conclusion of my Administrative Separation Board. Over the past two days my wife and I watched your incredible litigation skills in action as you seemed to bend the room to your will. Not only did you pull the truth out of my accusers, you prevented both my wife and I from having a complete breakdown due to the stress of the proceedings. You kept our minds focused on the conclusion rather than dwelling on the details. I’m sure that our elation was written all over our faces as my wife and I heard the results of the board, “By a vote of 3 to 0, we have concluded that you committed no misconduct and recommend that you are retained.”

Your counsel and advice coupled with the incredible work of Melody, Kat and the rest of your paralegal staff have not only sustained my family and me throughout this stressful process, but has produced simply unbelievable results. When asked by one of my board members if I felt any regrets in taking your advice to remain silent at my NJP, I was confident in my answer, that I know that you have my best interest in mind and that I trust your advice completely. My wife has stated that she saw such passion in you that she felt as if you were defending a member of your own family and I felt it too. You have the eternal gratitude from my entire family, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Hello Kat,

Needless to say that Monday was an anxious time for us all until mid afternoon. The result was a "just" end to that which was somewhat insane to us all from the beginning and notwithstanding our significant anxieties, we were happy that we could be present to offer our support to our son and his family.

Mom, sister, and I want to extend our deepest and heartfelt thanks to you for the obvious dedication and superior professional support during this ordeal. The respondent information/background volume that you compiled and crafted is incredible. It's content is an extremely satisfying read as well as very enlightening in regard to our son's peers - even knowing him as well as we all do.

The monkey that was on his back has been removed. He, his wife, and son can now return to and proceed with their normal life routines without the angst of the situation constantly circling their lives.

Our visit was very brief and intense with our return drive home taking all of yesterday. Maybe sometime in the future I'll be able to stop and say hello to you in person.

Again - many thanks to you, Greg, and your team.

"Mr. Lemmons,

It's been said that an attorney is the mouthpiece for a client. But with every woodwind instrument, the mouthpiece is only one part of a precision instrument. You are such an intricate part of Greg's team. I appreciate you always being there to answer my questions and easing my concerns. Thanks for your research, organization, and expertise."

"Mr. McCormack,

I can’t say THANKS enough for your efforts and your success concerning my case. You’ve been true to your word since day one. This is just a little something to express my deepest appreciation for tipping the “scales of justice” in my favor."

"On what was a very difficult day in March 2011, I began a professional relationship with Greg McCormack and his staff leaving my faith and trust in his experience and knowledge. My son had encountered some serious problems with the military leaving me in what would then be the most fearful time of my life. Uncertainty and 9 weeks of sleepless nights consumed me while Greg remained brutally honest yet driven to reach the best possible outcome in the circumstances. Throughout the process, Greg was available at any time of the day and night and I had multiple communications from him at what one would normally consider off hours. I appreciated his direct ability to be straight forward and the manner in which he was continued to be confident and aggressive with my son’s case, often times reminding me of what could happen, and what the next step would be if so. During the period of time that I was unable to communicate with my son, Greg was the "link" that filled that spot and continued to share information with me. In the end, Greg was successful in exactly what he planned to do from day one, and my son is now free to start a new chapter in his life."

Dear Mr. McCormack,

I cannot express in words the level of sincere gratitude I have for Theresa, Jarrett and you for finally bringing this nightmarish ordeal to a satisfactory conclusion. This has undoubtedly been the most stressful and unsettling time in my life not only from the severity of the charges filed against me but the uncertainty of the future. I was literally on the verge of a nervous breakdown and haven’t eaten or slept right in months.

The time that we spent talking in person or via phone was the only true moments of tranquility. Not only did you preserve my 22 year career but my life and the future of my children as well. From our initial meeting and consultation I felt completely at ease with you and had implicit trust. You and your staff have been there every step of the way to answer any questions that I've had and provided consistent communication the whole way through.

Your compassion, understanding and brute honesty has proven most helpful during this ordeal. Your predictions came true and unfolded almost exactly as you advised me that they would, always keeping perspective and never being overly assured, in no way leading to false hopes, all the while instilling the right amount confidence and trust. As there were some severely desolate possible outcomes. I have prayed for months for a miracle and when you called with the good news that my charges were withdrawn it were like the weight of the world was lifted from my shoulders.

Again in closing the level of appreciation I have for you and your staff is immeasurable. If an opportunity arises in the future where I find a shipmate in need of the best legal assistance that could possibly be provided no doubt they will be directed to Mr. Greg McCormack and his wonderful staff. God bless!

Dear Mr. McCormack,

I am a Soldier with over 21 years in the Army who has an outstanding military service record. I was deployed to Iraq as a Platoon Leader in July of 2009 when I received news my security clearance had been recommended for denial. This stemmed from false allegations made against me two years prior. I knew I had to submit a quick in-depth response or my career as an Officer was over. I was bewildered and didn’t know which way to turn. Being deployed, my only hope was to scour the internet and hope I could find a professional, knowledgeable Law Firm with extensive experience dealing with situations of this nature. I came upon your web site, was very impressed, and decided to call. After a quick consultation with Gary I knew I had the team I needed to get the job done. He didn't pull any punches, was the ultimate pessimist, and told me and the wife to just be even keeled and they would see what they could do. By the end of October I received an email stating my Secret clearance had been adjudicated. At that time I thought all was well, I couldn’t have been more mistaken. In mid-December I was called into my Commanders office who informed me the investigation dealing with the original false allegations had been re-opened because somebody within the command had signed in the wrong spot. During the course of this conversation he continually used the words Court Martial

I was totally shocked as I left his office and went home and informed my wife. We sat on the couch and were totally devastated. I couldn't think of anywhere to turn except to call your Firm once again. You (Greg) called back immediately and said “Well, unfortunately this is as bad as it gets, you know you could spend the rest of your life in prison.” I didn't know how to respond. I just thought “He’s going to be completely up-front and honest regardless of how much it hurts.” I told him it was his firm I wanted to represent me through the entire process. The Army drug their feet and in early April I made the promotion list, the very next day the charges were read against me in an attempt to halt my promotion. While waiting outside the office I heard the SJA proudly and unprofessionally remark “we need to read these charges to ensure this individual does not get promoted” The Army then tried to schedule The ART 32 ASAP, knowing your team would not be ready. You assertively ensured it was pushed back to allow us the proper time to prepare. During the ART 32 you aggressively cross-examined my accuser and her mother. You exposed them as the dishonest, manipulative individuals they were. You did such an outstanding job the IO recommended the charges be dropped with prejudice. The entire chain of command concurred and within 10 days all charges were dismissed and I was given my promotion. We had our peaks and valleys of emotions during the process, but yourself, Theresa, and Gary informed us to just hang in there and your team would get us through it. Thank you for getting us through the process and for doing such a great job for which we are forever thankful.

Dear Mr. McCormack,

It would be so easy just to go out and buy a pre-printed "Thank You" card and sign our names to say thank you for what you have done for us. But a card has never been written that can tell you how much we appreciate the hard work and dedication you have shown in these past months. This has been the hardest and most stressful time of our entire lives. When we didn't know which way to turn to seek legal help, Beth found you.

You and your staff have been there every step of the way to answer any and all questions that we've had. You have shown us both compassion and understanding during this ordeal. Your dedication has gone far beyond what we ever expected. There were times that you responded to questions in e-mail that were sent late at night and sometimes early in the morning. When something unexpected came up, you reacted immediately and always in our best interest. You seemed tireless in your efforts. At times it felt as though we were the only clients that you were working with.

There was never a moment that we didn't have total and complete trust in your advice and counsel. You always explained to us in great detail what was going on and what the possible outcome could be. Never once did you make a promise as to what would happen in the end. We sincerely appreciate your honesty and sincerity no matter how difficult it was to hear.

The final outcome was far beyond what I had prayed for and better than I believe even you expected. You have given us our life back and we plan to fade into a normal life as before. As I said, there is no card that can express the total extent of our gratitude and sincerest thanks. With that in mind, may I just close by saying thank you.

Mr. McCormack, I will first like to thank God then you! You are indeed the best at what you do. You and your team (Ms. Teresa) from day one have given me professional, first class service that has been worth every penny. I thank you and Teresa for the bottom of my heart.

PS. I'm so glad I did not go with the military counsel as a primary.

Greg,

Well I haven't had a good night sleep in over 2 and a half months, and after today I probably won't sleep tonight as well. Greg I want to thank you and your staff for saving my career and the well being of my family after I retire. From day one when I called your firm about my situation early one Saturday morning you were totally honest with what an impossible case I was facing. They way you handled my defense at my administrative separation board was something I've only seen in the movies. You used every piece of evidence possible to prove to the board members from a command that I had only been attached to for a month beyond a shadow of a doubt I was innocent.

I remember when I went to base legal to see about getting representation through the Navy I was still on the fence about hiring you. When I mentioned your name to the JAG officer he said,"Greg McCormack is a "Bulldog"...if anyone can prove you are innocent he can". I knew your were the right defense attorney for me.

I can't think you enough for staying on me about getting the correct resources you needed to help build the best defense case possible. Tell Greg you deserve a raise, ha,ha. After talking to Greg after my board it was my career path and accomplishments that paid a big part in the findings at my board. Just for the record after a last minute entry of evidence to the board on my behalf by Greg McCormack, the board found a 3-0 vote of "No Misconduct". This wouldn't have been available if you haven't had put it there in my file.

I don't mean this in a bad way at all, but I will probably be in serious debt for the next few years. It doesn't compare to what Greg McCormack saved me in the long run. You saved my life, my marriage, my military reputation, and my career. If anyone feels that they are facing a "No Win" situation dealing with a UCMJ conviction I highly recommend that you give Greg McCormack a call. I thank you, my family thanks you, and I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Dear Greg,

In June 2009, my husband and I were celebrating life. Our youngest son just celebrated his first birthday; our oldest son was gearing up for first grade. I had just began a second career with the deaf, Cliff was excited about his upcoming deployment with the United States Navy, and we were about to buy land in the country to build a home. We were living out the American dream, and thanking God for His blessings. Then, suddenly, our world came crashing down with one phone call, one meeting, a handful of mistakes made by others, and plenty of tears. After fifteen years of dedicated military service, Cliff was looking at being forcibly discharged, through no fault of his own, leaving him and our family enveloped in panic and unsure of the future.

We began searching for civilian representation the same day. We were not having much luck talking with anyone, as it was past business hours on a Friday. After locating your information through your web site, Cliff and I thought we would at least leave a message after feeling inspired by your clients’ testimonials. As we sat on the front porch overwhelmed with worry, our tension was broken up by the telephone ringing. Within hours of learning about our unfortunate predicament, you called and immediately starting setting our minds at ease. You discussed your experience and took time to address many of our concerns. Your knowledge of military law and your expedited response placed us in your office within days.

Thus began our year long journey with you, Greg, and you provided our family not only with legal expertise but also emotional support throughout a difficult year. You and your staff were always available and enabled us to overcome every barrier that was set in our way. Your passion and confidence bled through to us, and with every passing day we found comfort through your legal counsel and professional advice.

In June 2010 our well-traveled road became one paved with hope, praise, and joyous tears when Cliff was found without fault, retained in service, and promoted to Lieutenant. Now, thanks to your diligence, persistence, and devotion to innocence, my husband is looking forward to his future assignments with the military. Due to your vast knowledge, and if it is God’s will, Cliff will breathe the salty air and sail the seas until he retires.

Everyone must remember that bad things happen to good people. God allows us to experience the trials and tribulations of this earth in order to grow and become closer to Him. In our case, not only is that true, but it seems He also blessed us with a guardian angel.

Thank you, Greg. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

Gary,

You were the first person we contacted at the firm dealing with our situation. We were immediately impressed with the proactive tone you set from the beginning. Your professionalism continued throughout the case up through the great hand-over you executed with Theresa. Thank you for all of your hard work and for giving us peace of mind when we so desperately needed it!

Dear Mr. McCormack,

Greg: I just wanted to drop you a quick line and say hello. I’ve been selected for Major and the mere fact that I was even around to be considered for promotion I owe to you. I’m now stationed in *********, and although I work some long hours, it’s okay. Every day is a good day and I don’t sweat the small stuff. There are good attorney’s in the world and then there’s you. You’re in a league by yourself. Thank you again for everything you did for me.

Dear Mr. McCormack,

My son’s life was on the line, and my heart was broken. As a mother, there is no worse feeling, than helplessness. You gave my son his life back; I will never be able to thank you enough. He now can continue his career in the Navy, and will be able to hold his head up high, because you are a great lawyer, you took control, and it was clear to see, you have a gift. One of honesty and hard work, and you are a master at litigation in the court room. Thank you and your staff from the bottom of my heart. God bless and keep you all.

Dear Mr. McCormack,

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!!! My feet have not touched planet earth yet!!!!! Scott tried to call yesterday but I was out mowing the lawn and missed his call............I hope he knows!!!!! I am so excited!! You are the best, best, best lawyer in the whole world!!!!!!!

Dear Greg,

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! Thank you for the impressive, well-thought out & honest speech you gave to Judge **** today!! I have faith in the honesty of lawyers now! I know that I speak for many others in saying that **** punishment has already been served (actually, I think a fine should have been enough) & that should have been it; but I realize that this was quite a MIRACULOUS decision not to go by those damn guidelines in a federal case!! It's something that needs to be changed in the law, that each case should be judged individually. Anyway's, I was completely riveted to your every truthful word today & wanted to tell you how grateful I am--this decision has changed the course of my life as well as his immediate family and I am eternally grateful for everything you've done for ****.

Dear Greg,

Thank you so much for all that you have done. I could not have picked better representation. Thank you again Mr. McCormack and thank you to your excellent team of folks, especially Mr. Gary Lemmons. You have gained my up most respect for the work that you do.

Dear Greg,

I cannot thank you, Theresa, Tiffany and your entire firm enough for all you did for me. When I first contacted you my life and my Air Force career of 18 years where both literally flashing before my eyes. You never pulled any punches with me about the seriousness of my situation, but from day one I knew I had come to the right place. You are a brilliant litigator with a compassionate, talented team of professionals backing you and I will be forever grateful. God Bless!

Dear Greg,

I want to personally thank you and your associates for the outstanding legal support you provided me in preparation for my board. The board's decision was favorable and I could not have done it without the diligent work and meticulous preparation that you and your staff provided. I would like to especially thank your paralegal, Gary Lemmons, for his outstanding support and professionalism throughout the entire process.

If any of my friends, colleagues or relatives requires legal services in the future, I will immediately refer them to your firm. Thanks again and keep up the great work.

Dear Greg D. McCormack,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the excellent work throughout (name omitted) case. It was truly awesome! Thank God!! Without you we couldn't be able to reach this successful conclusion of this case. Again, we deeply appreciate everything and May the Lord bless and guide you always as you continue to defend the weak in our society. God Bless!!!!

Mr. McCormack,

Sir, it was a little over a year ago when (name omitted) and I came to you with our son (name omitted) situation. You taking on your case gave us a calming relief that we had not experienced since trying to take care of the matter ourselves for over 5 months. Our anxieties, aggravations and frustrations had finally come to an end.

You took an unbearable situation and made it bearable for us. You also taught me a few things that I will never forget. You truly cared about our problems, put us at ease, and answered all of our questions. We were no longer alone in our fight. You saw to it that everything that was needed to be done for (name omitted) was done. Your determination, caring, kindness, compassion, thoroughness and your professionalism are the very qualities that make you such an incredible attorney! You are a credit to your profession!! We are so very grateful to you for everything that you have done for us!!!

Your have a wonderful staff that is reflective of the kind of attorney that you are. They have been extremely nice to us and were always reassuring. We will never forget you or your staff; it is not often that you come across such exemplary people in life. It has been an honor and a privilege.

The intent of this letter is to first of all express my thankfulness to you for the dedication and attention you put on my case that led to complete legal victory during the Board on 28 September. Now I’d like to let you know that I do give you my authorization that you mention my legal case that you and your associates took care of and its favorable outcome in your legal office web site. I would like you to do this and if you find it appropriate or necessary so to help other service members who are facing adverse legal or administrative actions from the military be more encouraged and confident in seeking your legal representation. And I did choose you to represent me in my legal case based on the other testimonials that can be read in your web site which gave me a good impression of your professionalism, honesty and experience. Thanks very much again and keep up the good work.

Don't get me wrong, I am a patriot. But there are times, when certain people especially in this day and age, are not cut out for the military.

If it were not for the services of The Law Firm of Greg D. McCormack, P.C. and his excellent staff we would have been totally lost.

My daughter went AWOL shortly after reporting for her AIT training, needless to say I was shocked being prior Military myself I was deeply hurt and had no idea what to do other then encourage her to return and search the Internet for answers.

That's when I came across the services of The Law Firm of Greg D. McCormack, P.C I called them and spoke to Mr. McCormack and then Jenny and I felt immediately relieved. I read through the testimonials on the web site and realized that my daughter's situation might turn out positive. Of course there is a fee that is worth every penny.

My daughter was dropped from the rolls after approximately 40 days from AWOL and we were immediately notified by Mr. McCormack at which time my daughter turned herself into Ft Knox and she was administratively discharged within the week.

I commend The Law Firm of McCormack and McCormack and his staff for their vigilance, confidence, professionalism and guidance in assisting us throughout this most difficult situation.

Thank You ALL!

Officers of the USAF, if your career means everything to you and the Air Force is your entire life, hire Greg McCormack professional military attorney’s to represent you when the AF has turned their backs on you. As a 12 year career officer, I was used as an escape goat by the USAF. I was facing an Article 15 and a Court-Martial.

I made the call to The Law Firm of McCormack and McCormack, and spoke with Mr. McCormack in that very instant. My entire career and benefits, family and marriage were hanging on the line. Having Mr. McCormack and staff represent you with their first letter head to the

Base/Squadron Commander had a lasting impression in the higher ranking officials, that I had a voice who would fight my case. A professional attorney that makes civilian attorney’s look like limp noodles up next to the expertise unity of Greg McCormack who’s military law is their expertise. Time is of the essences, especially for any officer during a high profile case. Correspondence between myself and Mr. McCormack, and paralegal, Ms. Burke, was outstanding! Three months later, no article 15 or a Court-martial was implemented because I had the right team on my side. Imagine this huge government institution, The United States Air Force against you. Mr. McCormack took them on, no civilian attorney can compare. Speak to an Associate and see for yourself, you have nothing to loose except your military career.

I have always believed that the United States military is one of the most proficient and intriguing paths for a young person establishing their selves in life. I firmly thought that the military would be exactly the foundation that I needed to create the life I have always desired. While the sentiments of the military being a outstanding institution still remain true, I was regrettably wrong to think that military life was for me.

After completing boot camp and only a month at my first duty station, I bought a plane ticket and flew home. I had no idea what the ramifications of my actions would be or what I would face for leaving.
The only thing that I did know was that the military was not for me and that I was not going to stay. It was a full six months later before I realized that a warrant had been issued for my arrest by the military. I casually came across this information while applying for a job and my previously crystal clear background check now listed me as a felon.

To say that I was devastated would be the understatement of the year. I fell into a state of depression and even contemplated suicide.

With no knowledge of what I would be facing for my mistake, I knew I wanted my life back but had no clue as to how to fix the issues that I had created. I decided that if indeed I had to turn myself over to military control and spend whatever amount of time in a military jail that was ordered, then that was what I was ready to do. The thought of military jail time were less frightening then being an enlisted sailor.

Based on advise from a friend, I went online to find attorneys in my local area to simply consult with to learn what I should do. Over a 3 month time span, I met on consultation visits with a total of "six lawyers that specialize in military law" in my immediate area. Every time these "military lawyers" left me with more questions as I walked in having.

Each time I searched for a new lawyer to speak to, The Law Firm of McCormack and McCormack web site ad popped up. I immediately dismissed this ad simply because of where the attorney was based. I remember thinking that I had to find a local attorney that I can look at face to face to help me through this matter. As previously stated, I left each of those "face to face" meetings with my head hung low. I even thought about going to a local recruiting office and simply telling them that I was AWOL and needed to turn myself in.

On every occasion I was online searching for yet another face to face consultation, The Law Firm of McCormack and McCormack ad continued to pop up. I thought once again, "How can they really help me? They are so far away in a entirely different state". Feeling completely helpless and days before I was ready to walk into a recruiting office to turn myself in, I decided to call.

After the first conversation with this office, I immediately knew I had found the help I so desperately needed. I was made no promises and was told exactly what may happen once I was back in military control. I was told that this office would file all the necessary paperwork to complete my surrender and be by my side through out the entire process.

After of course paying the attorney fees, I was told the office would be in touch as soon as they heard the conditions of my return from the military.

Less then one week later, I received a telephone call. I looked at the caller ID and my stomach tied in knots as I read The Law Firm of McCormack and McCormack I held my breath and could hardly say hello. My only thought was how much time am I going to spend in a military jail. But that conversation never occurred.

With only the assistance of The Law Firm of Greg D. McCormack, P.C, I was told that I had received an administrative discharge and did not even have to return to military control for a single hour!! I was instructed to check my email, complete the paperwork and my warrant and AWOL status would be removed within 24 hours! The very next day I was told I was a free man!!

The burden of a year on the run was released just that quickly.

I have given The Law Firm of McCormack and McCormack permission to use my name and phone number on this letter if they so desire so that I can share this story with anyone who may need the same assistance that I took advantage of. I was not paid for this letter or received any special treatment at any time. I have never seen or met any employee of the Law Firm of McCormack and McCormack P.C., but I feel forever in debt to them for giving me my life back.

Dear Greg,

I wanted to send you this thank you note, but wanted to wait until I had my retirement orders in my hand. My official retirement date is ****, which is also my wedding anniversary of 27 years. I am a Major and I am on terminal leave up here in ******. I teach ****** at ****** and I love it. None of this would have come true if not for you. When you, ****** and myself were standing in that side room, we all had tears in our eyes. I will never forget what you said to me. "It is nice to see someone who truly deserves this get it." Thank you from the bottom of my heart and may God bless you!!!

Major *****, USAF RET

I would just like to thank my attorney and paralegal for the excellent work they put forth. Oh, by the way, you too Tiffany (Ha,Ha). They constantly gave me updates on the case which kept my mind at ease. This firm doesn't come cheap but in the end I felt it was money well spent. The representation I was given was so professional and wise that it made the prosecution look like the circus was in town. The case was over quick and the verdict was pretty easy to predict since my attorney laid out the evidence Johnny Cochran style. I would refer any person in the Armed Forces who comes under any kind of serious allegations to call The Law Firm of Greg D. McCormack, P.C and give yourself the peace of mind and stress relief you deserve. After all, it's only your career and future at stake.

Thank you again,
Tim

I shot an 83, two hours after the trial.

To: Greg McCormack

Thank you,

I want to express my gratitude to you for bringing this nightmare of mine to a satisfactory conclusion.

When I first came into your office over a year ago, and asked you for your help I was in disbelief about everything that was going on with my life in the military. I can't thank you enough for your support and encouragement through that difficult time in my life.

When my command told me that they where going to send me to a general court-martial, and that I had no chance of coming out of this without a dishonorable discharge I had lost a lot of faith in the fact that I would ever see this come to a satisfactory conclusion. I have no doubt that without your help I would not have gotten out with an honorable discharge and all of my benefits.

Thank you again for helping me, without your help I would not have the opportunities that I have today with my new life.

Greg,

What a turn of events from the moment we retained your services!!!!!! Myron was home with us this weekend (he flew back Sunday evening) - just unbelievable considering where he was just a week ago - AND he has paperwork that officially separates him from the Navy on Thursday. Greg prior to your involvement in the matter, we were helpless and had no idea what was going to happen from one minute to the next; we were at the mercy of the military. This changed the moment you stepped in. Greg when we met I asked you to please get him out without a federal conviction - you delivered. As one father to another, you helped me to give my son and his young family another chance to live in the USA - as a family. This is priceless, and we are ALL ever indebted to you...

Anna I also want to thank you for your professionalism and sincere committed & dedication to this case.

I am moving on in "2006" with new dreams and ambitions in the US Navy. I would like to thank you for the services and support I needed. You are a great team and words cannot express the loyalty and hard work put into my case. Not a day goes by that I don't think of how I can ever repay you because money alone is not enough. I am able to continue my career which means the world to me. Thank you again and I pray that God continues to bless you and your families and all of Greg McCormack and his Associate Staff.

Dear Mr. McCormack and Staff:

I wanted to express my deepest gratitude for everything your office has done to make right all of the injustices brought upon me by the U. S. Navy. When I first got word that I failed a urinalysis, I knew there was a mistake but I also knew that no one would have believed me. Thanks to you and your staff, many fatal discrepancies were found in the collection and testing process, discrediting the entire drug-testing program of the command. You know the military legal system very well and you will do what it takes to protect your clients, and for that I am grateful.

Most of all I want to thank you for your honesty. At a time when there were few people I could trust, you always laid the cards on the table and told me exactly how it was. You are truly a man of integrity. Everything you said you would do, you did. I greatly appreciate your professionalism and I wish there were more like you in the world.

Mr. McCormack, you turned what seemed to be the darkest, toughest time of my life into the best thing that could have happened to me. I spent the last two years working toward a degree in Electrical Engineering while working part time. Thanks to you and everyone who worked so diligently on my case, I now have only two years of school left and thanks to your knowledge of the legal system, the Board for Correction of Military Records ruled my original General Discharge to be overturned, giving me two years of E-5 back pay while I was attending school and giving me an RE-1 reenlistment code, allowing me to go back in the Navy in the future but putting me two years closer to retirement. I could not have dreamed of a better outcome. Even the Congressman's office expressed how lucky I was to find representation of your caliber who really knows the military legal system inside and out. I truly appreciate everything you and your whole office has done, especially Gary Lemmons, for all his patience and understanding in dealing with me and working so hard on the Review Board packet. God Bless you all.

If you ever become caught up in the the military legal system, making the wrong choices could cause you to loose your career, your freedom and the respect of your peers. One of those decisions is knowing who to talk to and even more importantly knowing who not to talk too. It doesn't matter how innocent you are. The prosecutor representing the United States has one job and that is to prove you are guilty. They're resources are unlimited and will come at you with every asset at their disposal. I know this because I found myself caught up in this nightmare. My first wrong choice was to talk to the prosecutors figuring I had nothing to hide. That was my first mistake...they turned my statements against me and used them to compound the charges against me. My second wrong choice was my legal counsel. I chose to go with a civilian lawyer figuring he would be more experienced than the military lawyer I was given to represent me. After 3 weeks of explaining what had happen in my case he still could not get the facts right. I ended up making the decision to fire him. That was my first right decision. The second right one was hiring Greg McCormack. To make a long story short. Greg investigated the facts as I presented them to him and interviewed all the witnesses involved in my particular case. Through his hard work I was able to continue my Naval career after being convicted at a court marshal and sentenced to no punishment. Greg will always have my respect and friendship. If you are in trouble and you need help there is only one right choice and that is Greg McCormack.

Dear Greg,

It sure was a pleasure to hear from you again. My monetary obligation to you may have been fulfilled, but I owe you so much more. You have my eternal admiration and respect. Needless to say that period of my life is one I seldom try to thing about, however your image will always shine bright in that dark place of my memory. At a time when I needed one the most, you were a true Godsend and legal warrior. My first civilian lawyer took a five thousand dollar retainer and made zero court appearances, seemed more concerned as to where the next payment was going to come from, and tried to convince me the best course of action would be to plead guilty and hope for a reduced sentence. The next military appointed lawyer left me with the impression that I was just a switch throw away from the electric chair. I can truly say I have never been so afraid of a situation in my entire life as I was at that moment. Only by the help of a Brig counselor did your name come to my attention. I made the call to you and the rest is history. It gives me some satisfaction to know that the U. S. Navy paid for that call which put me in touch with you. I don’t know how else to put it Greg, I know in my heart that you are that one-in-a-million, and in a way I owe you my life. If wish you continued success in your practice and good fortune.

Dear Mr. McCormack,

This letter is to express our deep gratitude for your work in [name omitted] recent administrative board hearing. We truly appreciate all you did for us, especially meeting with him and advising him on Sunday prior to the board hearing. Not many people would have done that. Our appreciation also goes to Theresa for her hard work on our behalf. I know in my heart that you made it possible for [name omitted] to continue his Navy career. We will never be able to thank you enough. Your attention to detail surely provided the basis for the final outcome. May God bless you and your staff and may you continue to fight for the rights of the enlisted. You are in our prayers.

Greg, I think you are a terrific lawyer and I admire your professionalism. I am very happy with the job you did for [name omitted]. I miss my daily emails!

Office Staff – you are all very kind and nice on the phone. That is such a pleasure when troubles invade your life and you can’t think straight. I cannot thank you all enough. Hopefully, we won’t meet again. I wish you all a wonderful life and I will never forget you.

Mr. McCormack,

The entire [name omitted] family would like to convey our personal thanks and gratitude to you and your staff for the excellent defense you provided for our son, brother, nephew, and cousin, [name omitted].

We learned of [name omitted] situation just weeks before he was to go to trial. He carried that burden alone for nine whole months. [Name omitted] is very private and feels that he can work through and solve any problem he encounters on his own (very independent). Needless to say, we were devastated and heartbroken, but never afraid of the outcome.

We believed in God! Matthew 21:22 says, “All things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”

We took [name omitted] situation to our Pastor and our Deacon and our family members who in turn, along with us, took it to God.

We kept a prayer vigil going even when the trial was in progress. We know God can perform miracles more than one time and it was proven through you, in your defense of [name omitted]. We are forever grateful to you.

We continue to send up praises of thanksgiving to God for safely delivering our son and for you, Mr. McCormack, for being the instrument that God used.

Dear Mr. McCormack,

Eleanor and I wish to thank you for the superb and sensitive representation you provided our granddaughter, [name omitted] during her recent appeal in the Virginia Beach court system. While the outcome was not as good as we had hoped, I feel it was as good as, or better than we could reasonably expect under the circumstances.

Again, we wish to thank you for your services. We feel you did an excellent job, and we’re grateful.
