Jarrett L. McCormack is a graduate of Western New England College School of Law and Old Dominion University, and is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia, in the Eastern District of Virginia Federal Courts, and in all military trial and appellate courts. Jarrett had worked in a law clerk capacity for the Law Firm of Greg D. McCormack for ten years prior to becoming licensed by the Virginia State Bar, assisting with the preparation of numerous courts-martial and civilian criminal cases for trial.
In addition, Jarrett served as an intern with the U.S. Navy JAG Corps, during which time he actively assisted both the Legal Assistance and defense departments at NLSO MIDLANT in Norfolk, VA. Jarrett represents clients in our local state and federal courts on criminal, traffic, and personal injury cases, as well as assists on military law cases. Mr. McCormack has represented clients, many of whom are current or retired military personnel, on charges ranging from minor traffic infractions, DUI, and domestic assaults, up to and including felony drug possession, sexual assaults and homicide.
Jarrett also represents clients as plaintiffs in a variety of personal injury matters, including traffic collisions, slip-and-falls, and amusement park accidents. Jarrett’s experience with a high volume of military personnel facing civilian criminal charges, as well as the law office of McCormack & McCormack’s ability to represent our clients when their command initiates legal or nonjudicial punishment, and representation for security clearance issues, provides our clients with a solid legal team to handle any and all repercussions stemming from civilian charges.
