WHAT CIVILIAN ATTORNEY SHOULD YOU RETAIN?

Remember, you have an absolute right to military counsel, free of charge. All military lawyers are "qualified" to represent you. They have all graduated from law school, have been admitted to practice law in at least one state, and have completed the basic military lawyers course. Regrettably, from that point on, you really have no idea what you are dealing with. You may be the first client for the attorney, or your case may be his first jury trial. Perhaps he's more experienced than the typical military lawyer, and has had three or four jury trials in his short career - are you comfortable with that?

Some of the civilian lawyers who do handle military law in today’s environment work in a one lawyer, limited support staff operation. Our law firm is NOT a solo-practice, one lawyer firm with minimal support staff.
